When Times Comes

When time comes, I’ll comfort you

Because God has not given us the spirit of fear but of a sound mind

When time comes, I’ll be your strength

For he will not give you more than you can endure

When time comes, I’ll be your shield

Trust in God and he will answer you

When time comes, I’ll be your inspiration

Be strong, my beloved and prayerful

When time comes, I’ll be your rock

Let not your heart be troubled

When time comes, I’ll reason with you

Remember, when calamity comes the wicked tremble and suffer

When time comes, I’ll encourage you

Even in death the righteous will find refuge that this world could not offer

When time comes, I’ll teach you

The one thing that binds us together is love

When time comes, I’ll nurture you

Your memory will forever remain

When time comes, I’ll lead you

And I’m thankful for the unconditional love you gave

When time comes, I’ll be with you

And guard you through hills and mountains of life

When time comes I will carry you

And be at peace knowing that you fought the good fight of faith

I Have a Dream Nigeria

d5952dd595af70265ff5eeef3f87c182

By Princess Asha

I have a Dream Nigeria that there was a rebirth of conscience in our leaders, both the young and old alike came out of the wilderness in solidarity and became the new face of nation building.

I have a Dream Nigeria that we were no longer defined by ethnicity, corruption, radicalism or religion but by heroism and patriotism.

I have a Dream Nigeria that the tears and pains of our motherland gave birth to a new nation, our land flourished once again with resources, innovation and technology to heal, feed and provide for the poor, and destitute.

I have a Dream Nigeria that the conscience of Nigeria returned back to Nigerians and that the oppressed and forgotten danced to the sound of freedom, equality and justice for all.

I have a Dream Nigeria that change may not come easy,  and will come at a cost or perhaps, may not happen in our life time, but because the young and old dare to dream dreams of a better tomorrow, Nigeria will wake up from its sleeping slumber by kiss of destiny, and that history is waiting on you to be written.

Young At Heart Poetry Vol 4 – I-U-UR

I hear your footsteps distance away

I see your face in my sleep, whenever you call my name

I feel your breath in the wind of the night, until sunshine

I hear gossip uttered, while truth waits in time and place

I say you feel nothing, because promises were broken, even fools wonder because they know better

You cause the tsunami of your sweetness to awake my sub-conscious

You unveil the child in me, like a new born, I feel a rebirth taking place

You talk my worries away into the land of no return

You watch over me, when I sleep in your arms

You say you feel nothing because promises were broken, even fools wonder because they know better

Your innocence is without compromise

Your love like lava solidifies every thing in it’s path

Your aura can be compared to the seven wonders of the world

Your caring and nurturing nature is without a doubt

Your heart skip a bit, when I tell you I miss you

Your heart feels nothing, because promises were broken,  even fools wonder because they know better

Love Remains Constant

The feeling of love remains constant, always growing. Sometimes new love can be the most exciting, like meeting that special someone or having a baby, your mind processes them over and over again. When old love fades, you may have drown in your quest for career, money, family, even happiness.  Always, love yourself first, unselfishly! And take some time off, it will allow love to rain in your life again. Otherwise, it wasn’t meant to be.

The Right Kind of Love?

When one finds the right kind of love, it’s a beautiful experience. Love is the foundation of life and the bed rock of romance. Love is so passionate, yet it’s a force to recon with. Love is the engine that fuels our very soul. Love is all that truly matters because it’s never a missed opportunity, if you’ve missed it once, it will eventually find you when you least expect. ~ Princess Asha
